Fellowship Christian Church exists to bring the love of Christ to Tacoma's East Side and beyond through fellowship and worship. Pastor Gordon Robards was born and raised in Southern Illinois where he met his wife, Gail. They have two grown daughters and 4 grandchildren. He has been in the ministry for 40 years, spending 20 years in Omaha, Nebraska before spending the last 15 years in Tacoma. He attended Lincoln Bible College and Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois and was a Student Minister there as well. He went to Bible College to learn more about God's word and continues to enjoy studying His word and sharing it with others. "So much of our world needs to know God and His truth. I have offered myself to God, to be used however in this effort." When he is not studying, he loves being out in God's creation and working with wood by building or refinishing.

Youth Minister Tyler Robinson and his wife Holly also hail from Illinois, though from opposite ends of the state. Tyler attended Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi where he received his degree in Biblical Studies, specializing in Cultural Relations. He first worked for New Life Ministries in inner-city Jackson before moving out of para-church work into mainstream ministry. In his spare time, he loves playing soccer and wasting his life on video games of all kinds. He also moonlights as a Dranei shaman named Drillpress on World of Warcraft's Zuluhed server.

Youth Group Meeting

**Dont forget about the Youth Group's Silent Auction of an 8 hour day dedicated to what ever you need done! The Bid sheet is in the Foyer. This is to raise money for the Youth to attend "KNOW SWEAT" in Portland, Oregon to work restoring a neighborhood for some needy folks!

Women's Fellowship Breakfast
Cooked by the men! All the ladies in the church are invited to this special time. We will be revealing our Secret Sister from last year and drawing a new name for next year, for those who wish to participate. Please sign up on the sheet in the foyer if you would like to come.

Men's Breakfast
The ladies of the church will be honoring our men for their dedication and hard work in the church. All the men are invited to attend this wonderful morning. Please sign up if you would like to come.

Potluck Barbeque
Given by the EastEnd Newcomers for all who would like to come. Bring your favortie dish and enjoy a wonderful afternoon. It will be held on the grassy parking lot on E. "I" St. across from the Church. Please talk to Randy Goldsby if you have any questions.

Church in the Backyard
These Sunday evening events begin at Don & Rita's house. There is a sign up sheet on the board in the foyer, and we need volunteers! This is always a great event!! We sing and praise God, share a devotion from God's Word, enjoy yard games, snacks, and each other. Just bring your favorite game and a snack you like, and enjoy!!
